Braymer C-4 is very excited to announce that we will be joining the Central River Conference (CRC) for 8-man football beginning next season. In some ways, this is a return "home" to our former conference that Braymer spent nearly six decades in, ending in 2008 when the original conference folded. Several years ago, the CRC was reinstated as an 8-man football conference. Due to the ever-changing landscape of 8-man football (new schools entering that classification), we will now have the opportunity to schedule and compete in a conference with area and neighboring schools, thus decreasing average round-trip travel throughout the football season. The new-look CRC football conference will consist of two divisions and will feature both divisional play and cross-over games.
The following are the initial CRC divisions for the 2020 season:
CLAA Division--Norborne/HC, Braymer, Keytesville, Chilhowee, North Shelby, Northwest-Hughesville
I-70 Division--Concordia, Orrick, Santa Fe, St. Paul's, Sweet Springs.
Each division will crown a champion and details are being worked out for crowning an overall conference champion, along with selections of all-conference and divisional honors.
Braymer's varsity football schedule for 2020 is as follows:
8/21 Jamboree at Braymer 8/28 @ NW-Hughesville 9/4 HOME vs ST. PAUL 9/11 @ Keytesville 9/18 @ Orrick 9/25 @ Norborne/Hardin-Central 10/2 HOMECOMING vs CHILHOWEE 10/9 HOME vs CONCORDIA 10/16 @ Santa Fe 10/23 HOME vs NORTH SHELBY
Other details are being worked out and we will release more information as it becomes official.
