Hello! I am very excited to be a Bobcat again after retiring in May of 2021. 

I am married to Chuck Gates and we own a farm north of Braymer. Our kids are Brian, who is a math teacher in Cairo, his wife Peggy, and their kids, Jasmine and Blake. Our daughter Stephanie is the FACS teacher in Gallatin this year and our son Jason is married to Jadyn and he works at RTS Financial in Overland Park. We have two dogs, Duke and Abby, who are spoiled rotten, and we also have six cats, but most of them are outside cats. 

I enjoy spending time outside with the animals and working in my flower beds. I love photography, the beach, sunrises, and sunsets. My favorite baseball team is the St. Louis Cardinals, but I am also a fan of the Kansas City Royals. My favorite football team is the Chiefs, of course! As always, I will cheer for the Bobcats in all sports because the players are my favorites!

I'm looking forward to building relationships with my students during science class as we learn new things. Let's have a great year!
