Welcome to the Braymer Bands!

Dear Students and Parents,

 My name is Ms. Audrey Kruse and I am the band director for the Braymer Bobcat Band! This is my second year of teaching at Braymer C4! I am so excited to be back with all of the students and grow in music together. 

 I graduated from the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg.  Ever since I was in the fifth grade I participated in band in a variety of different ensembles including marching band, concert band, symphonic band, and performing at the Missouri Music Educators Association conference at the Lake of the Ozarks.  Being a part of music has changed my life in many ways and  has taught me valuable life lessons that I have carried with me in my adult years. I am very fortunate and blessed to be able to teach what I am truly passionate about and share my love of music with my students.  I am looking forward to guiding each student to their fullest potential and by doing so  through the gift of music. Although this past year was filled with  some uncertainty, I am ready to be back with the students and make wonderful music!

 The Braymer school district is made up of unique and talented students each with his or her own individual learning style, interests, strengths, and dreams. I want to make an impact and leave a lasting impression on my students by facilitating and growing their individual strengths and dreams. Student engagement and forming positive student-teacher relationships is very important to me as an educator. I am looking forward to continuing my relationship with each individual student and finding what makes them unique. I am very excited to be a part of the Braymer school district and a member of the Bobcat family!  In the handbook, you will find important information regarding everything with the band this year. It is pertinent that you keep this handbook throughout the year as a reference. If you do have any questions, do not hesitate to ask. On the school district page I have a website that I will be using to upload announcements about  events and any documents I have handed out in class. If you go to the staff directory, you will be able to find my page and access these documents.  I am looking forward to a great school year!
