Welcome to the Braymer C-4 Schools

Braymer C-4 Public Schools

Welcome to Braymer C-4 School District. We are proud of our students, faculty, Board of Education, and community. 

Businesses include convenience stores, automotive repair shops, service stations, used car dealer, a flower/gift shop, restaurants, insurance agencies, newspaper, beauty/tanning salons, grocery store, bank, auto parts store, grain elevator, funeral homes, nursing home, city hall, fire department, police enforcement, physician, health clinic, chiropractor, churches, post office, bakery, tax return preparers, real estate agents, and a bowling alley. Civic and community organizations include the Braymer Lions Club, American Legion, Tuesday Study Club, Pleasant Hill Lyons Club, Delta Chi Sorority, PEO, Eastern Star and Masonic Lodge.

About The Community

Braymer, with a population of about 900 residents, is located about twenty-five miles southwest of Chillicothe and sixty miles northeast of Kansas City. A wide variety of businesses in Braymer provide goods and services for its residents.

 About The District

The Braymer C-4 School District has a total enrollment of 325 students, Pre K -12. Some of these students attend on a non-resident basis from the communities of Cowgill and New York. Some of these students attend the District's Title I preschool. The district employs 35 certificated staff and 16 non-certified staff. The average classroom size is 20 in grades K-12. The District offers dual credit courses through various colleges.  The students have the opportunity to attend the Grand River Vocational Technical School in Chillicothe. Additionally, the district offers Vocational Business and Agriculture. The District has active Booster Clubs and Alumni. School colors are red and black, and the school mascot is the "BOBCAT".
