Braymer C-4 Public Schools

Welcome to Braymer C-4 School District. We are proud of our students, faculty, Board of Education, and community. 

Businesses include convenience stores, automotive repair shops, service stations, auto body shop, used car dealers, a flower/gift shop, restaurants, insurance agencies, newspaper, beauty/tanning salons, an excellent grocery store, bank, auto parts store, grain elevator, funeral homes, nursing home, city hall, fire department, police enforcement, physician, health clinic, chiropractor, churches, post office, billiard hall, bakery, tax return preparers, real estate agents, a bowling alley, and a print shop. Civic and community organizations include the Braymer Lions Club, American Legion, Tuesday Study Club, Pleasant Hill Lyon Club, Delta Chi Sorority, PEO, Eastern Star and Masonic Lodge.

About The Community

Braymer, with a population of about 1000 residents, is located about twenty-five miles southwest of Chillicothe and sixty miles northeast of Kansas City. A wide variety of businesses in Braymer provide goods and services for its residents.

 About The District

The Braymer C-4 School District has a total enrollment of 332 students, Pre K -12. About 20 of these students attend on a non-resident basis from the communities of Cowgill and New York. Twenty additional students attend the District's Title I preschool. The district employs 38 certificated staff and 20 non-certified staff. The average classroom size is 16 in grades K-12. The District offers dual credit courses through various colleges.  The students have the opportunity to attend the Grand River Vocational Technical School in Chillicothe. Additionally, the district offers Vocational Business, Agriculture and Family and Consumer Science programs. The District has active Booster Clubs and Alumni. School colors are red and black, and the school mascot is the "BOBCAT".
